Beside the bright color, carrot also have the sweet taste. Here is some benefits of carrot for your kid healthy.
  • Keep eyes healthy. Vitamin A change the violet color pigment in retina. It is the most essential to watch the dreary lamp. According to World Health Organization, about 1.4 million of kids in the world have the blindness as the result of vitamin A deficiency. So, this nutrition is very important for your eyes.
  • Increase the body immune. The cells along the airways, digestive system and urinary tract stay healthy. It’s very important to keep the body immune from infection. That’s why the deficiency of vitamin A deficiency in children is closely related to higher rates of respiratory diseases and diarrhea.
  • Breathing Relief. Carrots prevent the asthma in children, esspecially those that are always surrounded by the smokers. Research on children between 4 - 16 years old found that the intake of beta carotene in carrots will reduce asthma attacks by 10% when he was in non-smoking environment, and 40% if exposure to passive smokers.

Note: Carrot more nutritious if less heated than in the raw state. This is because its vitamins and minerals more readily 'assimilated'.

By the age of two years old, children have what is usually called “ language explosion “. Their vocabulary increases rapidly. They understand what are you talking about and much better to express their desires. In 1 – 2 years old, there are 3 main achievements in development of language of kid communication :
  • They have about 15 words before 18 months old.
  • Combines 2 words in one sentence before 2 years old.
  • Understand the simple instruction before 2 years old

Your kid may still communicate using their body language like pointing something that they want. Nothing wrong if use the body language, but the priority in this age is verbal language development as the communication facilities for kid. So if your child point to glass, you can ask him, “ do you want to drink ? “. Then wait their reaction ( nodded, shook his head or answer with the short answer ). Then you can ask again, “ What do you want to drink ? Milk or tea ? “. These inducements will motivate your kid to respond and get involved in conversation.
